French aircraft simulator company ALSIM has confirmed the launch of its new Cirrus SR Series G7 simulator and has recently installed the first two sims at Cirrus’ Vision Centre in Knoxville, Tennessee.
ALSIM ALSR G7 is a replica of the Cirrus SR Series G7 SR22 aircraft, offering a reliable and economic training solution for pilot licence training, as well as Cirrus aircraft familiarisation training.
The simulator features the latest G7-specific interior cockpit and flight deck, including Cirrus Perspective Touch+™ avionics system. It operates real Garmin GDU 1450W 12’’, GTC585, and GFC700 Autopilot for a seamless transition to the real aircraft. Additionally, the ALSR is equipped with a Garmin GMA 350C – All digital Audio Panel and can simulate the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS).
Commenting on the new tie-in with Cirrus, ALSIM co-founder and president Jean-Paul Monnin said: “We are thrilled to continue working with Cirrus, delivering cutting-edge flight simulators that elevate pilot training for Cirrus pilots and Cirrus Training Centres. Recently, two new ALSR G7 FTD simulators were delivered and installed at the Vision Centre in Knoxville, Tennessee, with four additional ALSR G7 Compact simulators set to be delivered shortly.”
“The recent addition of the ALSIM SR Series G7 simulator at the Vision Centre further enhances our training capabilities, reinforcing Cirrus’ commitment to improving pilot safety through comprehensive flight training. This simulator offers a new layer of immersive training experiences to our flight training portfolio,” added Zean Nielsen, CEO of Cirrus.
