Bristol Groundschool (BGS) and Wings Alliance (WA) have partnered with aviation charity the Air League to offer new scholarships for both ATPL and PPL theoretical knowledge training programmes, which the application window for this year’s scholarships closing on 04 May.
Theoretical knowledge (TK) specialist company BGS, alongside pilot mentoring training group Wings Alliance are providing five scholarships on an annual basis, with the Air League running the application programme.
This year, BGS and WA are offering three scholarships for ATPL students:
- 2x ATPL(A) EASA/UK approved courses (50% funded)
- 1x 12-month subscription to the BGS ATPL video library
And two scholarships for PPL students:
- 1x PPL(A) TK course (fully funded)
- 1x 12-month subscription to BGS Online
The partnership and the scholarships were launched officially at the Pilot Careers Live event at the Sofitel in Heathrow on Saturday 22nd March.
Commenting on the new scholarships, Gill Fowkes, Commercial Director at Bristol Groundschool and the Wings Alliance, said: “We are thrilled to be joining forces with The Air League to ensure that aspiring pilots receive impartial and high-quality advice on their training journey. Our collaboration will allow us to work closely to support individuals in making informed decisions about their future, and our scholarship programme will help make pilot training more accessible.”
